TCG Legends Expo landed in Philadelphia on September 27th & 28th for its Pennsylvania debut of legendary proportions! More than just a card show for buying, selling, and trading, it’s also where you can meet the icons who bring your favorite TCGs (Trading Card Games) to life! From meeting TCG designers & illustrators to anime voice actors & announcers, you’ll walk away with a unique experience unlike any another card show:

Among the Legends in attendance were Digimon designer/illustrator Kenji Watanabe (above), illustrators NC Empire, Gosha, and Craig Turvey, as well as Disney animators, Lorcana & MetaZoo TCG artists, Pokemon voice actors, and Rodger Parsons, the original Pokemon series narrator! Fans brought their most memorable collectibles for the signing sessions, eagerly waiting for photo ops and opportunities to take home custom sketches.

With the TCG Legends Expo Gold Pass, VIPs were able to enter the event an hour early at 9am each day to enjoy these signings, as well as the Show Floor which featured over 200 tables including Safari Zone Collectibles, the recently revamped MetaZoo TCG (with promo cards, demos, and a prize wheel), and hundreds of local fan-favorite vendors who were offering a wide selection of card products from Pokemon, Magic: The Gathering, One Piece, Dragon Ball, Digimon, Yu-Gi-Oh, and Lorcana.

Running until 6pm daily, you could shop your way through the expansive Show Floor while trading in your own collectibles for credit towards that Charizard grail you might have been searching for, or pick up Elite Trainer Boxes from the latest Pokemon set Mega Evolution… Whether you’re a collector of sealed, singles, slabs, or something else, you’ll find it at TCG Legends Expo! And with the Pennsylvania Convention Center located just across the street from Reading Terminal Market, there were plenty of dining options to enjoy midday while admiring your new pickups.

But beyond TCG, the Expo also featured Funko Pops, comic books & magazines, plushies, Shikishi boards & other rare artist sketches, limited edition prints & cels, PiggyBanx, and sports cards for sale. Not to mention plenty of cool custom collectibles like crafts, lightboxes, woodwork, pixel art, 3D printed Poke Balls, and stunning character crystals by Cris’ Crystals & Jewels:

You haven’t seen a card show quite like TCG Legends Expo! The Philadelphia edition is in the history books for now, but stay tuned for their next stop in Pittsburgh, PA on May 30-31, 2026! In the meantime, check out additional photos from the event and our recap video from Philadelphia:
