Kodansha House 2025

Kodansha House has returned to SoHo in New York City from October 4-19, 2025! Following its 2024 debut, this year’s pop-up is bigger & better, offering new immersive experiences from popular manga & anime franchises under the Kodansha publishing banner. Brace yourself as you enter the worlds of Blue Lock, Attack On Titan, Ghost In The Shell, and other titles.

Located at 210 Lafayette Street, the main floor is covered wall-to-wall with art straight from the pages of Wotakoi: Love Is Hard For Otaku, A Sign Of Affection, Fire Force, Blue Lock, Ghost In The Shell, and Attack On Titan… as well as a Tachikoma exhibit and fan activations that let you re-live The Major’s “Ghost Drop” (below), enter your own “Ego Tunnel” from Blue Lock, or become a Titan!

The fan-favorite manga library (below) also returned, with shelves filled with classics from Kodansha’s 100+ year history! More expansive than ever, there’s plenty of space across both levels of the pop-up to enjoy everything that Kodansha House has to offer. And with mangaka meet & greets, movie nights, karaoke, and other events, there’s no shortage of happenings this time around. It truly is “Where Manga Meets”!

Meanwhile, downstairs you’ll find classic arcades like Pump It Up: Exceed, Initial D Arcade Stage 8 Infinity, Galaga, Mortal Kombat II, and the return of the Kodansha House Gachapon! And before you leave, don’t forget to visit the pop-up shop by Books Kinokuniya!

Although some special events are sold out, limited walk-ins will be available. Otherwise Kodansha House itself is open to the public and completely free to enter Tuesday through Sunday, from 12pm-9pm, until October 19, 2025. This is a must-visit for manga & anime fans so hurry in while you still can (210 Lafayette St., New York, NY).
