To celebrate the 45th anniversary of GUNPLA, the Gundam Base Pop-Up World Tour will be visiting over a dozen cities around the globe in 2025, beginning with Osaka, Japan on April 11th and ending with Kaohsiung, Taiwan on December 28th. The 9th stop of the World Tour was at the American Dream Mall in East Rutherford, NJ, the second largest mall in the United States, with exclusive items for sale, a GUNPLA exhibit, TCG & kit demos, Bandai Gashapon, photo ops, and a promo card giveaway with purchase.
From October 4 to October 19, this free-to-enter shop in NJ had limited quantities of exclusive kits, figures, tools, and accessories. Reservations were encouraged but walk-ins were also accepted. Every purchase came with a double-sided GUNPLA 45th Anniversary / 30th Gundam Wing tote bag as well as a Gundam Base EX promo card while supplies lasted. Fans were also able to sign up for demos for the TCG, kit building, and painting demos on a first come, first served basis:
A popular area of the Gundam Base Pop-Up was the exhibit, showcasing all of the various Gundam product lines from Premium Bandai High Grades to Megahouse Cats, and everything in between!
